(AP) - Lexington officials have given preliminary approval to a proposal that would increase the city's minimum wage.The Lexington Herald-Leader reports the Urban County Council passed a first reading on Thursday of a measure to increase the minimum wage from the current $7.25 an hour to $10.10 an hour over three years. Officials must approve the proposal at a second reading before it becomes law.     Jarad McCargo LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -A former Lexington firefighter convicted of hitting and injuring a soldier was sentenced Friday to ten years in prison. Back in September, a Fayette County jury found Jarad McCargo guilty on six counts including assault and DUI. Police said McCargo backed into Noel Espino outside the Beer Trappe last September.     A man got away with an undetermined amount of cash after robbing the Speedway at 447 East New Circle early Friday morning, police said.The man approached a woman who works as a clerk at the station while she stood outside during her break, Lt.
