A few months ago, Cameron Reddish thought he had this whole recruiting thing pretty much figured out. The five-star high school basketball prospect landed early scholarship offers from most of the nation’s top programs, and his original plan was to announce a commitment during Nike’s annual Peach Jam event, which will be held in July. “At first I had an idea where I wanted to go,” Reddish said this weekend. “So I thought, ‘This will be easy.’” That plan has changed. Come on up for the rising: Calumet Farm is a Kentucky Derby ...
The traditional devil’s red-and-blue silks are long gone, replaced by Brad Kelley’s black-and-gold chevron, but these days maybe a more apt symbol for Calumet Farm would be that of a phoenix, the mythological bird who famously rose from the ashes. After years of decline, collapse and neglect, Calumet Farm is suddenly a burgeoning presence again in the sport of horse racing with its eye on recreating its unmatched success in Triple Crown races. True, Calumet won the 2013 Preakness with Oxbow, bu..

Dynamic basketball duo from Jersey ready to hear Calipari's ...
Even at the highest levels with the top prospects, the brand of basketball played on the shoe-company circuits this time of year can sometimes be tough to watch. That’s especially the case as the weekend drags on and travel-weary players start to get tired, make mistakes and mentally check out. That’s not what happened here on Court 6 at the Under Armour session Saturday night. What spectators saw instead was a thing of basketball beauty. Those responsible: Bryan Antoine and Scottie Lewis — two..
